Maria-Salma Agioub holds a
- degree in science in early childhood from Department of Education Sciences in Early Childhood, Democritus University of Thrace,
- a M.Ed. in “Master’s in Education” from Hellenic Open University
She is a teacher, working at Greek public nursery schools since 2007.
She is currently attached to the Institute of Educational Policy in the Preschool Education Unit
Publications & Projects
Her research interests focus on Preschool Education, action research and cooperative learning.
She has completed her diploma thesis “Improving educational practice through action research: an example of cooperative learning”.
She has successfully completed the project “In-service Training of Teachers in the utilization and application of Digital Technologies in the teaching practice” and holds a level of A and B Level ICT Teacher Training.
She has participated in the following programs:
- the “Teacher Training Major Program”, a 200 hour duration course
- the ETwinning program “Multimedia editing tools - Educational materials production tools”, a 120 hour duration course.
She has participated in the research program of the Department of Early Childhood Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, “The cooperation between University and School in the perspective of forming a professional education. The importance of mentors as part of graduate training”.
