Eleni Atsalaki
Eleni Atsalaki holds
- a BA degree in Architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- an MA in Urban and Regional planning from the National Technical University of Athens (School of Architecture)
She has worked for 10 years in the public sector e.g. for the Hellenic Tourism Organization, the Workers' Housing Organisation, the Organising Committee of the 2004 Olympic Games, and the Municipality of Kallithea in the department of Urban planning. She has also been employed in various Architecture firms.
After having successfully participated in the written examinations of the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) she was appointed teacher (PE 81 –Architect), and taught at the Vocational Upper High School (EPAL) of Thera and of Laurio, for 4years and 1 year respectively.
Since 2016, she has been attached to the Institute of Educational Policy in the Logistics and Technical Support Department, in charge of the building’s facilities, safety and maintenance.
She is also a member of the Technical and Vocational Education Unit.
Her scientific interests lie mainly in the field of urban planning and in particular, on issues regarding landscape physiognomy.
